I was invited to attend the iCR8 Sports Marketing Workshop with the Marcus Graham Project and the Chicago Bulls. I had the chance to learn from some of the most creative and influential people in this industry, including MGP Alumni and members of the Bulls organization.

As participants, we were divided into teams and given a brief to create and present a marketing campaign for the Chicago Bulls in four days. The campaign is for the Bulls x Paris game in 2023 with the goal of establishing the Bulls as the premier franchise that represents the NBA globally, demonstrating that the Bulls are more than just a basketball team, but players in the areas of music, fashion, and art/lifestyle culture.

My team presented the WINNING marketing campaign.

ENDURANCE MARKETING INC: SPORTS MARKETING INTERN

At Endurance Marketing Inc., I helped clients market and plan marathon and running events. I assisted with creating social media calendars, designing social media content on Facebook and Instagram, and writing emails; I also developed other marketing materials, such as training plans and magazine pages. I used Canva, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Express for my designs.

I attended an expo where I talked with prospective customers regarding the Fort2Base marathon event, helping to increase registrations. At Road Runner Sports, I was responsible for interacting with customers, handing out shirts/tanks, assigning bib numbers, answering questions, and creating social media content during packet pickup. I also worked on-site for the Fort2Base Race event, helping our sponsors with the post-race party setup and assisting with social media and selling merchandise.

I wrote and sent emails to roughly 100 running clubs by region to increase registrations and volunteers. The email included incentives such as exclusive club benefits and a club discount to help gain interest in participating in the event. Click on the image to the right to see the written email.

Throughout my internship, I've helped out with creating Fort2Base's 2022 Race Day Magazine. This project gave me the opportunity to grow my design skills and my creativity. I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express to create the pages. Click on the image to the right to see the full magazine.
